A magician is a general term for anyone that uses magic as a core function in their work. It is generally an adjective, describing the more specific type of work being done. For example, a magician farmer would be a farmer that uses magic in growing crops or livestock or in the harvesting thereof. All people use magic to some degree. To be a magician, more than the basics of magic should be used. This title often implies some level of licensing or at least an acceptance of observers that the magic performed is non-obvious or instinctual and requires some deeper understanding of the magical processes involved.
