A transcript of the events the day regarding the creation of Seconvales portal system.

the entire town is gathered, with drinks flowing and a stage set up beforethe fountain itself with the entire council in attendence and an elderly man using a staff with brown, miserable looking robes. A procession of robed and cloth covered faces enter the town, one of them holding the large gem that the party retrieved, and the crowd starts cheering. Two of them make their way to the stage, where lady Gray stands before them and nods. Her voice is amplified for her to be able to be heard over the sounds of the cheering below. "We thank you adventurers for retriving this item of great importance to our city, as it may bring about a new age of prosperity and trade to our humble town.""You have given word that you wish to address the people, and we have granted your request." she says before handing them a small gemstone that she was holding to her throat, to which the person gingerly takes it, and gives the stone to their companion before turning to the audience.

Slowly, she starts to remove her headwrap before the audience, the whisps of white hair starting to flow from her before the dramatic reveal of Espeaux, a drow in the middle of the city standing before a stunned crowd. The entire city is wordless as she begins to speak.

"I know these stares. They are of hatred, and mockery, and for that, I understand the plight of the people before me. Drow were brought underground, and were taught that all races of the surface and the underdark were beneath us... destined for slavery. But there was one who fit against the mold, and who told us that we were forced from the surface for a reason, and needed to make the world right again. Not by claiming the surface, but by making peace with those above, and assisting with the world above for the greatest good we can offer. Peace, prosperity and the shared information of knowledge between two parties."

"But I disagree with that information sharing. It is the belief of Linucem that the false goddess Lolth left her children to rot, because she knew of the good that existed in our world. Those who follow her beliefs cast Lolth from her life and strive to make the world a better place. Together, without slavery, fear of entrapment, and the equality of those who seek the truth and the light, from those born in the darkness of the world. we gathered this stone today and we refuse payment for this service. It is not because we desire your city, women, children, and the death of men and mer... It is because we desire a place in the world where our people. our own flesh and blood have been cast out, and we desire that which all men who come here for gain."

Espeaux holds up a fist. "We desire freedom... the freedom to belong. The freedom to be friends, and the freedom to join a kingdom even if they fight against the people we call our flesh and blood... we desire freedom, so we may live the life we strive for."

The drow woman holds down her fist and places her hands together, looking through all the audience. "We hope today that we can bring the possibility that since no races were scorned save for a select few... The drow, Orcs. Trolls of a decent nature, that those races who are under scrutiny can be given the possibility of citizenship in this great city, in this great nation... in the world of freedom." she says before holding her hands down, her speech completed.

the crowd is completely awestruck by this development. Even Lady gray, her high elven nature battling herself along with other members of the council looking both puzzled and afraid betray the feelings of the crowd itself. That is when the crowd starts applauding.

Even more start applauding as Espeaux gently takes the gem from her companion and hands it to lady gray, who still looks perplexed but takes the gem anyway as the other drow, and the rest of those who came in the procession starts to remove their bandages, the scars of battle and silver hair lay pristine upon their darkened skin as they proceed out of the city.

Lady gray hands the gemstone to the aging wizard who easilly holds it and brings it to the fountain as Lady gray begins to speak again. "Well... apparently the council has a discussion for the next meeting... A long one indeed... But... with that, we thank the umm... The worshipers of Linucem and we shall call upon you to visit our great city again soon."

Lady Gray puts the magical loud gemstone down from her throat, handing it to one of the other council members as they start to get ready to depart. Music and dancing can be heard from all over before a loud gust of wind comes from the central fountain, with a beam of blue light bursts directly upwards from the crystal, with even more cheering and celebration taking place. The portal, was complete.
