Skills

Concentration

When concentrating on a spell for an extended period of time, each hour spent concentrating on the spell provides a -1 penalty to the concentration check, and must be performed each hour. If a spell is concentrated on for over 8 hours, the spellcaster gains the exausted condition. If a character is immune to exaustion or fatigue, they spell instead ends after 8 hours.

Craft

Crafters Signature

Each and every spellcaster has a unique signature to their items, that applies on every single item they create. There is no way to permanently hide this feature without destroying the item, however temporary methods have been known to exist. The first time that a creature creates a magic item, they may roll twice on the below table, or choose a specific combination of two that will appear as a special quirk upon anything that they craft. A crafters signature is so unique to them, that even small nuances will appear if two different spellcasters share the same signature. These differences are subtle, but easilly noticed with proper investigation.

Crafters Signature

Roll the Dice
Emits a low hum while being used. Even the deaf can hear this hum.
Appears to be completely dishevelled or rusted, however is as strong as any similar item made of the same materials.
Item looks completely shattered, however, arcane energies hold the item together in strange colored strands of magic weave.
Drips with an appropriate fluid for the caster themselves (blood, ooze, radiance, ect…)
Item seems to be continuously being damaged by the element it incorporates, but only visually. (fire burns, cold freezes, ect…)
Songbirds are continuously drawn to the wielder of the item when outdoors.
Always covered with a light dew, even in extreme hot or cold environments.
A specific symbol of a creature rests upon the item, and travels around it aimlessly as if it were alive. (symbol does not change)
Item always appears as a specific color, but with no special effects.
Always feels warm, as if the item was recently touched to bare skin.
Leaps into their owners hand just before they actually grab it (they still must have been able to grab it from their position.)
Fluids spilled upon it form intricate, specific patterns.
Has holes within it that correlate to a specific constellation in the sky, that when viewing the constellation through the item, move so that you can properly see the constellation.
Constant feel of liquid sloshing about within.
Has the head of a creature upon it, which always seems to look at all who enter its gaze.
Either a light scent of the sea, or a fish scale texture where it is commonly grabbed.
It feels as light as a feather but still weighs the same.
Always able to be folded up for proper storage.
Those other than the wielder will always smell a specific food.
Whispers while in use, barely audible to anyone unless they listen closely, but even then it's too quiet to make out.
A dim light always appears to be shining on (not from) the item.
A specific song plays for the user when it is used.
Covered head to toe in arcane/divine runes that are completely ineligible.
A light chill to anyone who touches the item.
Decorations always match the eye color of the one using it.
A symbol or mark appears to move up and down the item (usually a holy symbol, or draconic rune)
Upon being cleaned, a message of thanks from the creator plays telepathically to its wielder.
When spun in a light circle slowly, the item plays a small folk tune.
Accents heard by the user are absurdly exaggerated.
Acts as a malfunctioning mood ring.
The item casts no shadow.
Makes an animal noise on a specific command.
No matter which direction you look at it, it appears two dimensional.
Tattoos appear on your skin nearest to where the item is located (they disappear once unequipped)
When tired, doubles as a dubiously comfortable pillow.
When picking up the item, it incites a strong emotion for a very brief moment (grief/sorrow/joy/ect…) but not enough to distract, just enough to recognize the emotion before it fades away.
When the item touches something, for a few seconds, all color is drained from the item for a few moments, leaving a monochrome black and white image of it, before it reapplies.
The item smells of flowers of your choice.
The item when shaken, gives out small particles of a color of your choice.
An amazing sense of satisfaction upon the user when using the item.
Will hum a lullaby when you, or those you trust try to sleep.
The wielder will hear words of encouragement when successfully using the item.
The item always appears fuzzy for some reason. Petting it makes it purr.

For some reason, loose feathers always seem drawn to the item.
Plays a theme song in dramatically inapropriate moments.
Colors on the item shift around, like one would see on a lava lamp.

Small giggles can be heard when a joke is made around it.
When placed in water, it swims around like a fish in a circle until picked back up again.
After not wielding the item for 24 hours, a specific harmless vermin can be found guarding it.
Can only be placed in precarious positions on a surface for storage, or else it will fall to the ground.
When not equipted or under observation. The item will scream until it is being observed or equipted.
Image of item in mirror is not mirrored.
Doubles as a tuning fork.
Curses its user out when they fail to perform a task (Specific, or general)
Always drops feathers or fur (wither or not the item has any) while in use
Changes color when it is night time.
Item also functions as unwieldy dinnerware. (Can be different dinnerware per item.)
Those near the item always detect a faint smell of smoke, but can never locate the source. (Caster chooses the specific kind of smell. Campfire, food, etc...)
