Fedulov

Fedulov are an insect like species originating from an ecological disaster on the planet Tzak-Kul. As they share a planet, the Fedulov are closely associated with the Tani to many denizens of the frontier.

The Fedulov have an advantage over the Tani with their vocal chords. Fedulov typically can speak Terran quite easily.

Civilization and Culture

History

The Fedulov originated from a disastrous bioengineering experiment on Tzak-Kul. The experiment released mutagenic gas into the atmosphere, killing most eukaryotes. Only insects and plants survived of the eukaryote domain. Mutated photosynthetic prokaryotes increased the oxygen content of the atmosphere to dangerous levels. Many insectoid races mutated to be significantly larger to take advantage of the increased oxygenation.
