Polaxius

The planet of Kapnos has known many nations across its globe, from the vast empire of Kyrarchos to the Byzantius and interwoven kingdoms that make up the 'empire' of Omichlodis. Up until recently, the nations have held balance with each other. However, all of that is about to change. Nations rise and fall in due time, but none in the history of the planet have risen as high and as fast as the fledgling star: Polaxius!     The City of Polaxius started off as a small fishing village only 30 years ago, surrounded by warring city-states too busy to care about it. That all changed when Phretus and Damia, the first Diarchs, invented the teleportation circle. With the teleportation circle, Polaxius created vast trade networks almost overnight and used the vast increase of wealth and population to take control of the surrounding region, securing for itself a stable border and economic ties to lend it legitimacy.     The great powers of the world look at Polaxius quite tensely. They watch it's every move waiting to see if it's meteoric rise will continue, or if it collapses under it's on weight.
