Fabluenia (Fae-blu-en-ia)

The sovereignty of Fabluenia is known for being the most diplomatic and explorative of the kingdoms. Throughout history, their rulers acted as mediators between other lands. Their vision is to bring everyone into an era of everlasting peace.   Fabluenia is also known as the "Land of Adventurers." It is home to the largest Adventurers Guild, located in the capital city of Faeledo. A few famous Mystery Dungeons near Faeledo act as a right of passages to new adventures. The most famous Adventurers Guild is located in Galar. Known as The Heroes of Galar, they were one of the first groups to set foot upon the shores of Yisstoriya. It is known for having large Normal, Fairy, Electric, and Fighting-types populations, though types from all nations are welcome. Even the previous residents of Borecier are welcome in Fabluenia, though many receive a cold shoulder on occasion.   Dissenters believe the rulers of Fabuenia put other kingdoms before their own, so much so that there has been some friction between certain noble houses over the last several years. Some believe that they should take a step back from affairs outside Fabluenia and focus more internally. This proved to be difficult due to events in recent years, such asThe Ultra Beast War. With the passing of King Newbury,  passing of King Newbury, the same nobles began voicing their concerns for the future of Fabluenia.   This death sent shockwaves through not just his kingdom, but all kingdoms. The truth of his passing is unclear. Many rumors have been making their rounds. Some say he had grown ill. Others believe he may have sustained an injury during the war which had finally caught up to him. However, there are whispers of a fate much worse - one of treachery. Some say that their beloved king was taken from them by those that wish ill will upon him and his ideals.   The King's son, Prince Everett Quincy Digby Nibley Newbury, has now taken up the throne. Being an only child, whose mother passed when he was just a newborn, meant that he was next in line to rule. Although a kind, open-minded soul who bears similarities to his father, there is but one glaring problem: he is but a boy.   Prince Everett, only 13 years of age, is the youngest recorded ruler in Fabluenia's history. Although he has his father's old allies to assist him during his reign, many still have their doubts as they still perceive him as a child.

History

Fall of the Draconian Dynasty

King Quincy Digby Nibley Newbury aided Draconia's orphaned people to the best of his ability. The kingdoms of Hatra and Thaey took in a majority of the population, with Fabluenia lending a helping hand and keeping their doors open to the refugees. Although few, some that were close to the king disagreed with his decision. Fewer voiced their opinion.   King Newbury also requested that the leaders of Borcier and Oblithrus meet with him and the other leaders to discuss terms to end the invasion. He demanded the cessation of all aggression from the two allied kingdoms. In reality, he wished to give the Dragon's their home back. However, both he and his allies were already spread thin, so it wasn't a reasonable option.   His request and demands fell on deaf ears as he received no replies from either kingdom. He and other rulers feared the worst. Their people felt uneasy. Quietly, King Newbury did the best he could in prepping Fabluenia's defenses in case of a future invasion. He too began to share in his people’s feelings as the unease settled. Especially with how spread thin things were.

Fall of Borecier

Furious was an understatement to how King Newbury felt. Reports were flooding in about Oblithrus' attack on Borecier, with whom they had previously allied themselves. The Northern Kingdom had gone back on their word and King Desmond Shadowmore had not taken kindly to that. Under his orders, his men unleashed toxic miasma that left the Dragon lands and the Northern lands uninhabitable. Now the people of Borecier were without a home, and the previous civilians of Draconia could not return to what was once theirs.   King Newbury showed the people of Borecier the same courtesy as he did toward the Dragon-types. However, most of them turned to a nomadic life. There were even reports of the Wild Ones taking them in, though it was hard to determine the numbers.   Once again, King Newbury reached out to the ruler of Oblithrus. Again, he received not a word in return.   After the Death of King Desmond Shadowmore, his son Prince Damien Shadowmore took his place upon the throne. Like his late father, he refused to communicate with King Newbury. He feared that the prince would take up the torch of his father and set the world ablaze.

Ultra Beast War

The diplomatic King of Fabluenia knew that peace was not an option. There was no diplomacy to be had. The Ultra Beasts had made their intentions clear. As quickly as they invaded, he rallied his people to fight. King Newbury spearheaded the counterattack against the Ultra Beasts. He was able to assemble the leaders of all the kingdoms, and even the Queen of Skeyria complied. The alliance didn't end there, with the Wild Ones and defecting Ultra Beasts joining the ranks. Will their forces combined, they were able to push back against the invaders.   Word spread about King Newbury's feats during battle. They say he fought in the frontlines alongside his soldiers and displayed power befitting of a true hero. The people of his kingdom and those who witnessed him began referring to him as the "The Hero King of Fables," or the "Hero of Fables," in reference to The Hero of Yore.   During the war, the Ultra Beasts targeted Fabluenia's "Fields of Gold," laying waste to many of the wheat fields. They torched crops, plundered farms, and displaced many of the kingdom’s livestock. Although they have been receiving aid from their allies, Fabluenia is still slowly recovering from the damages the Ultra Beasts caused.

Agriculture & Industry

The lands of Fabluenia are blessed with vast, open plains. Farmers utilize the land for growing large quantities of wheat. The people began referring to the fields as "The Fields of Gold." It is truly a sight to behold when the summer winds blow with amber waves of grain as far as the eye can see.    Wheat aside, the wide-open fields are also a boon for grazing Pokemon. Fabluenia specializes in raising horse Pokemon with Ponyta and Rapidash being the most popular. Their Galarian forms are the pride and joy of the kingdom.
