Devil's Palm

Overview

As a resting spot of dragons Devil's Palm was once a home of an Ancient Black Dragon, Chernograd. While the dragon hasn't been seen for centuries, there is a tale amongst adventurers that his hoard was left behind.

What happens there today?

Recently spottings of wild Aarakocra have been seen flying towards the mountain range. Feathers have been found in places where cattle would normally be in the villages surronding Harap. It's been an year since adventurers have gone there and Harap's information bureau is outdated on the subject.

Shelter

Near the top of the mountain is a dungeon carved in the sandstone. Rooms carved out by devout kobolts still stand the test of time, although old as they are some parts of the interior have crumbled, forming natural cave tops from which stem icy structures. Nowadays it is the usual camping site where you would store supplies for an expedition to the dragon's den.

At the bottom of the mountain the old kobolt mines have become home for the gem seeking Azer and their troublesome neighbours the Thri-Kreen.
