Plateran: A New World

The world is young, but that does not mean there has been no history. Long ago, human explorers from across the ocean found a number of large landmasses. They created empires and wonders beyond imagination. Then, Eight wizards were born, and their abilities were God-like. Their deeds and mistakes shook the fabric of the world, causing the War of The Gods and the eventual fall of the Gods.   Now, the world is a bit older. Many rulers have rose and been felled by evil and empires stand the test of time. Heroes are born to uncover the mysteries of the new lands and with each new discovery their names go down in legends. However, are they working with the righteous side? Or are they just being indoctrinated to serve the evil? That is for the players to decide.   Welcome to Plateran. It is an entirely homebrew D&D setting for my players to explore and make their mark on it. It changes with every action and BBEG they destroy, and I am hoping to document everything here.
