Planet X

On the edge of the galaxy, there lies a backwater planet home to a number of species far removed from ourselves. Their world lies within reach of a golden age yet it continues to struggle with a growing number of social and political problems. Problems such as off-world immigration, AI sentience, the arrival of an intergalactic Empire(their distant cousins), the declining power of the ruling classes, and the ever-expanding Dark Market. The landscape of their world has advanced beyond simple industrialization resulting in enormous cities that span continents. An active effort has to be taken to tackle the problems caused by early industry.
