ΔΤΧ (Delta Tau Chi)

Many people across the planes have, or know those who have, had encounters with a small covered wagon painted with ΔΤΧ across the sides seemingly filled with unending amounts of various liquors, fanciful items, and dumb, if well-meaning, young men. Half-merchant, half-mercenary, the members of ΔΤΧ have a strong tendency to appear in the strangest areas to market their alcohol and an equally strong ability to hold their own against threats.

Structure

The group has a loose organization based primarily on respect, the amount of which primarily depends on time spent with the crew, skills they hold, and contributions they've given. For example, someone who's been with the group for years but is largely a leech will hold very little power even compared to someone who came in a few months back but is always seen offering support to his brothers.
The only defined position of power is the relative face of the organization as they make the large scale decision calls and are expected to keep the money and supplies flowing in return for organization-wide support.

Culture

Many of the members joined to escape a bad situation, creating a general over-awareness of what it feels like to have no support or be taken advantage of. As a result, the members have created a strong internal feeling of "us verses the world" and, while seeming welcoming, are actually very slow to trust new people.

Public Agenda

In the public eye, they travel around the planes to sell their services as adventures and their services as brewers while quietly recruiting young men they find that seem in need of a new family.

Assets

The primary asset is the fondly named Vodkawagon, a medium-sized wood covered wagon with a permanent Magnificent Mansion cast on it so as to house everyone and everything ΔΤΧ may need. On a less permanent note, ΔΤΧ is known primarily as a seller of various strong liquors.

History

ΔΤΧ got its start in the town of Vallaki, Barovia when the Wachter Brothers found themselves in charge of the entire town after a rather rough few weeks. When their sister took over after the Return, they took to the road and slowly found themselves attracting like-minded people, eventually creating the base of ΔΤΧ.
