Talons of the Flight

Talons are titles given to individuals who work for the Pinegaard Flight, an organization dedicated to promoting good and preserving history in Pinegaard. The names “Talon” and “Flight,” originate from the order of dragons who led a similar mission back when Pinegaard was on the Prime World before the ancient powers transported the continent to the Fey Realm.
Talons act as field agents fighting and destroying evil entities that seek to hurt the land or its people, similar to how the old dragons fought their adversaries back in the Prime World. They are known amongst the different folk in Pinegaard, though they’re not seen as more than foot soldiers. Talons will sometimes assist in defending a town against a monster or invading force.
They are also recognized among their own and most members work with different agency offices in established cities and towns.
When new Talons are inducted into The Flight, they are the lowest-ranked members in the organization. An experienced Talon will train with them until they feel the rookie is ready to continue their mission on their own.
While Talons are known for their martial prowess, many agents specialize in a specific area or skill. Some Talons provide extra security measures to city leaders or monarchs, or even local businesses. Others will focus on researching an important topic like criminal investigation, arcane study, or historical monster breeding areas.

• The Bronze Bolt Agency - a group of Talons in the City of Spells who focus on arcane study and magical crimes.
• The Topaz Eyes - these Talons roman the Southern part of Pinegaard, focusing on espionage and hidden crimes.
• The Shadow Claws - a group that specializes in hidden security measures and traps.
