The Miltiades Guild

The Miltiades was the expert crafter of the Quilatia who was relied upon to craft anything from the weapons used to hunt and protect to the pots and jars used to keep food preserved and safe, now the guild which has taken on their name is all about crafting, be any of the number of crafts like smithing, potting, stonemasonry or needlecraft, it all comes through the guild of Miltiades. Members of this guild have strong endurance to handle the gruelling times spent in front of hot kilns or furnaces hammering, chiselling or spinning their wears into strong items used by all the of cities inhabitants.

Structure

The organisation is helmed by the best craftsman named the grandmaster artisan so voted found by a competition which is held every 5 years that tests the abilities of one in producing various different items for all manner of uses, from here down the guild is split into different areas of skills so smithing, weaving, potting, stonemasonry, and people will mostly specialise into one of these crafts to gain the title of master artisan. Other levels below master artisan level are artisan, master craftsman, craftsman, journeyman, and finally apprentice. These levels follow a level of teaching where each level will have multiple people of the level below them to use to help them with works in exchange for teaching and help in improving the skills of the lower classed members.
