Generations ago (further than anyone can remember) when settlers first came to Phantasia the humans were rather large in number. Over the centuries their numbers have diminished, not by any violent causes but simply because interspecies reproduction is very common. Very few "pureblooded" races exist, instead many combinations can be found all across the land.
