This large garden is located on the floating island of (name). It has no fixed position and tends to float along Phaiyon's equator. It's a protected location due to its significance to
Azara's followers. People enjoy visiting to admire the plants, have a moment of peace, or to offer well wishes to the soul of a departed loved one.
Features and Layout
The garden covers most of the island. It consists of eight separate chunks, each connected with a bridge for easy traveling. The largest section is at the center. It's surrounded by seven smaller portions of varying shapes.
A large, old tree marks the center of the garden. There are benches around its base separated by small solar powered lamps. A shrine is located on the Northern part of this section.
The other portions contain different themed gardens. Two areas have ponds full of fish and water plants. All flowers and vegetation are native to the area and thrive in the warm climate. Most plants are in bloom year round.
"Momma, do you think Azara left the garden here when they created our home?"
"Hmm, maybe they did sweetie. I bet the tree was planted by them as a beacon to call us home to them when our time comes."
The World Tree
The species of tree that marks the center is often referred to as a world tree. This is a reference to the
Garden Tender myth, a creation story told by Azara's followers. It has purple bark, blue wood, and fruit that resembles miniature galaxies.
Some believe this specific tree is as old as Phaiyon itself. It's the largest of its kind, though no one knows its exact age. They also consider it a potential doorway to the realm beyond where their souls may pass on after death.
