On the quaking world of Dreon, tears make legends.    It has been centuries since the Second Pandemiun, when the Tears left the known world, either in glass, stone, or dust. Their creations, the Kin of the Tears, attempt to reclaim their god-given lands, while those who came before, the Perrenial Races, plan to finally accept their new world. All the while, humanity has finally risen from its oppression and obscurity and now seeks vengeance against both only finally settling on bitter peace.   Those who can remember long for the days of the Gaoyiun Empire, and the supposed peace and knowledge that it brought with it. Those who came first wish for the days of capacity, of the times before men, elves, and other Kin of the Tears. All the while there are those who only seek to live their lives and pray to the Harbingers for a bloodless night, devoid of monster and kin alike.   Unbeknownst to all, Dreon is changing, much like it always has, and the time of reckoning and judgment is upon. For great powers stew and prepare for chaos as the Blessing of the Chain lays unbroken, and as the Petras stay guarded against these very powers. For in these desperate times, that of great beasts, battle, and prophets, the tasks of The Fountain impose, whether worthy or not, towards the Martyrs and the Code of Creation. For without, the Last Pandemiun will come.
