Transrealistic thermoconduction

It is well established that absolute zero as a temperature is a theory, a reference level. It cannot be achieved because it requires precisely no energy at all. According to the laws of the universe, this state cannot exist.
This is not so true of every universe, however. Sufficiently advanced technology allows heat to, for just one moment, be transferred to another universe and completely removed from its own. This cools the material on which the operation was performed to the temperature of the destination universe, even if that temperature is zero.
The technology is difficult to create and exceptionally resource-intensive, but within the reach of the most advanced cultures of the universe.
