The Fruchtfelddorf Works

The factory complex, located on the right bank of the river, is the most well-known part of the city. Belonging to the von Fruchtfelddorf family, the Works specialise in manufacturing heavy farming equipment such as tractors, ploughs or cisterns. An internationally recognised and successful brand, they are the beating heart of the city's economy, providing jobs for its inhabitants and investing in the city infrastructure (for example, an enhanced railway system and an entirely new train station were sponsored by the family, which served both the factory and the citizens). The Works also grant permission to test their new vehicle models to local farmers and often sell their old leftover stocks of vehicles to them, which does good for the agriculture industry surrounding the city.

Wheat plantations

The city and its surrounding areas are also known for considerable wheat harvests, with many different estates managing huge fields of various species of wheat. Despite being less profitable than the previously mentioned heavy industry, it is a traditional bulwark of the area's economy, providing not only to export but also self-sustenance.

Geography

The city is mostly located on the left bank of the river. The river creates a curve at this point, creating a characteristic plan of the city which appears as a half-moon if viewed from above.
