Formal Declaration of the Holy Tsardom of the Daoinian Nation

The first time I've read it, I had a lot of doubts. You know, whether it is going to truly ring with the people that are going to read it, who will be the ones left with the interpretation and acceptation of the new state of affairs and complying with it. And I hope, also, working for its solidification and development. supposed words of the first Tsar, Nikolay Aksynov, regarding the document

Document Structure

Publication Status

The original, from which the rest of the copies were made, is on public display in the National Museum in the tsarist capital of Oktavgrad. Besides, numerous reproductions have been made throughout the years and so it is easily accessible to acquire and have at home.

Legal status

The document was written and published under the ratification of the General Assembly of the Confederation, the collection of monarchs of the allied daoinian states, who have agreed to proclaim archduke Nikolay Aksynov tsar and merge into the Tsardom that he would rule over.

Historical Details

Background

The proclamation was published after the victory in the war against Pandeamonium.

Public Reaction

Population of the states under the Confederation

The general reception of the proclamation of the new Tsardom was extremely positive since there was overwhelming support from the very start of the war to unite under one banner once more and reaffirm themselves as a world power and one nation. Celebrations were held across cities, towns and even villages after the publication of the document.

Central Continent

There was a great divide in how the many peoples of the Central Continent viewed the whole document and what it proclaimed. Some said that this was an ill omen of the coming storm that will ravage their lands and leave the continent under an iron fist of the Easterners. Others, promoted a completely different, more positive outlook on the matter, as they viewed it as a simplification in foreign relations and a possibility for a great alliance between the Consortium and this newly formed empire.

Legacy

Terminology differences

What is interesting to note is the terminology used in the document, mostly the name of the proclaimed state - "the Holy Tsardom of the Daoinian Nation". In the present time, the more widely used term is "the Holy Tsardom of the Oktavgradian Nation". This is the result of the divide that happened within the ethnicity, as there were Daoinians that were excluded from the tsarist state, primarily in the lands that were integrated into the Omanri Sultanate, but as well in few minor states that never decided to join the Confederation out of which the empire was born out of. In turn, the people of the Tsardom "rebranded" themselves as the nation of Oktavgrad, cutting ties in a way with the rest of their ethnicity and creating their own sub-ethnicity.

Proclamation of the Tsardom
Original document, signed by Nikolay Aksynov
I'd say it conveys all points that were meant to be stated. That the period of a fragmented western Eastern Continent is over and the spirit of the old lion that was the Daoinian Empire roars anew. That this new Tsardom is to last the ages and only grow ever more strong, being a beacon to all Daoinian people. And that it shall be defended most fiercely by the people and their brothers, the Winsern, with their great Kaiserreich as the closest ally to this new empire.
