Aturegia
Aturegia is a wonderland of contrasting colours and landscapes. It is a most incredible show of nature's artistic ability that fiercely rivals human creativity. Alexis Aksynov, eldest daughter of Tsar Sergei III that often visits the island
Geography
The island is located about 500m away from the coast of the mainland Central Continent, a strait of an approximate depth of 6m at its deepest point separating the two. The beaches on Aturegia are mostly sandy, with very bright sand. There are some to the north however, that are gravel or rock (they border the more mountainous region). The island is cut in the middle with a gentle limestone mountain range, which encompasses the highest point on the island at 678 meters above sea level. On the southern part, there are rocky rolling hills and small diorite plateaus. The rest is either a sparsely wooded forest (with the exception of the western side where they are relatively thick) or a grass plainlands.
Fauna & Flora
The name defines the island best, as it originates from the phrase of "regia dona naturae" - "kingly gifts of nature". And Aturegia is filled exactly with those gifts, which would be fit for a most prestigious of monarchs. Prof. Bruna van Glijn, biologist
