Mental characteristics

Personal history

The Lavigne family, like many in her lands, have ancient claims to a halfdozen noble titles. But little came of this as a child, the estate was in constant need of repaire with no help of typical trappings of nobility. She was taught as a lady, sent off to boarding schools to further her education on how to run a household- her father hoping to marry her off to join the line into some level of relavancy.   The young Benay resented this, instead striking out on her own early and burning more than a handful of bridges in denying various marriage requests. The only Lavigne child made her way to Teme-Rasadar in the middle of the crusade. There she spent several years as a refugee.   She would find herself drawn to the Order of the Oracle's Eye as it expanded in the region following the crusade. After joining the oracle took particular interest in her and her organizational skills, eventually hiring her as her personal senschal to manage affairs.

Education

Benay was sent to a series of private boarding schools growing up. She acceled in the competitive enviroments these brought, and was releived to be free of her home life. There she studied how to be a proper lady such as housekeeping, cooking, stableship, and the like. The young lady also took a particular interest in mathamatics, painting, and history.
