Giorgione is a incredibly eccentric, flashy, and charismatic. He enjoys a luxurious lifestyle, paid for by the treasures he's found and sold away. He has more fun parading around the world as a socialite rather than the scheming pirate he is. Giorgione was born into slavery and never knew his true family. He was another number and nothing more. A life of poverty and abuse motivated him to become something greater than he was, elevating his status beyond that of the slavers. It was wishful thinking for the most part, until he managed to escape with a few other half-orcs.
He taught himself how to fight and learned quickly what power words had over people. By his mid 20s, he managed to put together a decent crew and commandeered a ship, which he named the Emerald Stalker. Eventually, he met Huey Romero when the man was working as a prostitute in a small city on Romaya. Giorgione was interested in him instantly, not realizing that he was about to risk it all with somebody whose manipulation skills rivaled his own. Huey had managed to convince Giorgione that his feelings were mutual and he was recruited onto the ship. He bested the former quartermaster in a duel and took his job, securing his place among the crew.
For a decade, Giorgione was trying to turn a whore into a husband, but Huey wasn't one to be tied down. They argued constantly due to Huey's cheating, his greed, and Giorgione's inability to realize that he himself was a criminal, not a noble. When he stepped on land to make an appearance at a royal ball, Huey took his ship and crew. For three years, Giorgione tried to track him down, following the trail of chaos that followed his ex-lover like a plague. Unfortunately for him, he was captured by bounty hunters before he could ever get his revenge. Months later, he found himself sharing a cell with Huey, whose luck had finally run out. Both were to be sent to the gallows, so they called a truce and escaped.
Perfect time for a good backstab and Giorgione took it. He took off with his now worn down ship and left Huey behind. All of that resentment and bitterness finally found its target. Giorgione's unaware that Huey's alive. He's slightly unhinged after everything he was put through, but has managed to gather up a sizeable crew after a couple of years.
