Emerald Stalker Vehicle in Pathfinder Pirates | World Anvil

Emerald Stalker

The Emerald Stalker is a ship once commanded by a brutal gnoll named Petrus "The Dog" Seldon. The Stalkers were ruthless in their conquests, always leaving one witness behind to tell of their crimes. Unfortunately, time caught up with Petrus and pirate hunters cut him down and dragged his officers off to the gallows. What was left of the crew managed to flee with the ship and went into hiding for years.   When they returned, the Emerald Stalker and its crew was led by Giorgione "Black Eye" Dior, a half-orc with expensive tastes. The Stalkers went from a seemingly mindless band of raiders to being an eccentric crew of swashbucklers. Huey Romero joined the crew a few years later, working his way up to be Giorgione's quartermaster and full-time lover. For a whole decade, the Stalkers enjoyed a life of luxury and success.   Giorgione was invited to gatherings with socialites all over the Romayan coast and with his attention focused more on building his reputation, the crew started to grow restless. Huey commandeered the Emerald Stalker and renamed it Blackwater in honor of his hometown. Huey's reign led to the Stalkers making a lot of enemies, including some of his crew. Trust was fragile among them all and over time, all Huey had left was a skeleton crew and a ship that was falling into disrepair.   It was attacked by bounty hunters and the last of the crew was captured. After a chance reunion between Huey and Giorgione in prison, the two called a truce and escaped. It was all a ploy for Giorgione to reclaim the Emerald Stalker and his crew, leaving Huey to take the fall for them. The Emerald Stalker has set out on the seas around Romaya and the surrounding continent, fighting to restore their former glory. Black Eye remains as captain and his quartermaster is Serahi "The Crone" Reid, an old undine.
