Belisian Ethnicity in Pathfinder Pirates | World Anvil

Belisian

Belisians are the residents of Belisa, a city on the continent of Romaya. The original inhabitants are dwarves and much of the city's population to this day is made up of their kind. Gnomes and humans are the most common after them.   Opals are by far their most common and popular export. A few types of opals call the mines of Belisa home, the rarest one being the Romayan Harlequin. These opals catch the light as diamond and rectangular shapes, shimmering in vibrant hues of purple, green, and gold. They're frequently used to craft jewelry for nighttime festivals as their colors look gorgeous beneath moonlight. Coal is another common export and one that serves many uses all over the world. It brings in the most wealth compared to other items due to nations buying it in bulk and paying for ships to carry it over.   A famed export would be the city's Blackwater Tonic, which is alleged to be a cure for any and all ailments. Even with a few outsiders expressing their suspicions of the drink, it's still being shipped to countries near and far. It's thanks to the heartwarming story behind its creation and also the dashes of opium the Goldeye brothers lace it with.
