Aasimar

Aasimar, or children of the light, are a sort of subset of Humans. They feature odd physical traits that grow stronger as they age, such as glowing hair/eyes, odd skin colours (metallic, shimmering, etc.), and legends even say of some that develop wings. An Aasimar is born, when two have children together, or by what seems to be a completely random chance. There are so few in the world, there hasn't ever been a real study done to determine much more, as they tend to become outcasts due to their differences.
The Congregation of Radiance and Brilliance sees them as children of the light, however. This means that they are seen as holy, and as physical manifestations of the divine entropy that is the light. Many notable people in the religion are believed to have been Aasimar, such as Gabriel, or Aegidius Septus.
They are also considered good luck in most cultures.
