Halflings (pending changes)

Ranging from three to four feet in height, halflings mark the middle ground between dwarves and gnomes. They are an intelligent and studious race, known to only leave their villages in the pursuit of knowledge. Halflings are very down-to-earth and concrete. Though not as stubborn as their mountain-bound predecessors, they are heavily bound to the mindset that if they cannot see it then it is not there or nonexistent. Halflings are relatively proportional, though their limbs seem to be just slightly shorter than ideal, with long torsos making up most of their height. They want for very little, studying in their hollowed-out hillside homes where their simple lives pass on with the same steady, peaceful rhythm. Halflings anger few, and are angered by even less. Should one seek revenge in any form, they can make rather formidable opponents, as their cunning and knowledge are nothing to be tampered with. It is almost unheard of for a halfling to live for longer than a hundred and fifty years, and about half of the population possesses low levels of magic.
