Faeries & Fae (pending)

The trickster race of Parthalan, fairies are also the shortest in both lifespan and size. They grow no larger than three inches, including their iridescent wings, and can live no longer than thirty years. Upon their death, they burst into a cloud of pixie dust. The fae are androgynous, asexual beings that are capable of reproducing through a self-cloning method. Fairies are absolutely always magical, and inherently speak the language of the Ancients, known as Godstongue, which is used for spellcasting. Devious and tricky, fairies are just as likely to give you a kiss as they are to bite off your fingers. Fairies delight in pain and making the lives of mortals miserable, but once a fairy owes someone a debt, they serve that person until either they or their master dies. The younger they are, the more clueless they often become, and it is not uncommon for a stray fairy to be so unlike others of their kind that they resemble each other in only appearance.
