Parr
Parr is a relatively young continent for the world at large.
To most Parrians, life on Parr began 943 years ago when the wizards, mages, and those who accompanied them fled to the continent. It became obvious that the known world wasn't going to tolerate their magic and they needed a place to be free.
It was not long (about 50 years), after the discovery of Parr and the initial settling that the traders and merchants of the world caught on to this new goldmine of resources and wealth.
Not seeing an easy solution, the wizards let the traders come. They were afraid that magical force would create the same division they had before.
Before long, the traders had power, wealth, armies, and fleets at their disposal to protect their trade routes. The Trade Federation of Parr was founded. The Uculian Empire at its head.
The Empire isn't mean, evil, or restrictive, in fact, due to their involvement in Parr the continent has become prosperous and happy. It's hard to find someone who is upset with the status quo.
