— Juan Morterero

History

Juan is the son of Martin Morterero, a franco-spanish diplomat, and was raised in the Parisian bourgeoisie of Boulogne-Billancourt. At the age of 18 he entered a Parisian business school from which he graduated five years later. He later joined Dassault Industries as a salesman and eventually became sales manager.   Despite their jobs, Juan and his father remained very close and arranged to travel to the same cities for business. When his father died in 2060 Juan was devastated and went into a period of depression that lasted several months. It is Religion and more specifically Christianity that saves him from the depression. Juan undertook a journey of initiation throughout ancient Christianity to learn more about the origins of Jesus. His journey lasted until 2063 when he decided to return to France.   On his return to Boulogne-Billancourt, he founded the Church of Ichthys, a paleochristian cult. Thanks to his oratory skills and money, the Church of Ichthys grew and could no longer be ignored by the big corporate organisations. In 2069 Juan created the Hand of Ichthys, an organisation whose aim is to defend the Church of Ichthys, even if this organisation only aims to defend, its methods are more like those of a street gang. Since 2078, Boulogne-Billancourt is officially recognised as the territory of the Hand of Ichthys.
