This alternate earth used to be a hostile fantasy-esque realm, with strange and wondrous beasts and cryptids, 6 species of hominids and man-eating, glowing plants. Areas had a technological equivalent to anywhere between the dark ages and the Elizabethan era. That all changed when sixty-something years ago when a scientist from... somewhere else... came and introduced them to science and technology, changing richer areas into metropolises. Little do the good people know that he is simply using them to raise an army.
