Pack Drakes
A domesticated relative of the Peak Drake, used as a pack animal in mountainous regions. It is said that the original human settlers of the mountains attempted to use oxen and mules, but many froze to death or plummeted from the sides of sheer cliffs.
Pack Drakes are about two to three meters long. They have four limbs, each one ending in a clawed foot with serrated talons, perfect for digging into a cliffside. They have shorter tails than most drakes (besides Peak Drakes), which allows them to better retain body heat. Their heads are draconic, with a small spike ridge along the back of it. Their teeth are sharp enough to tear flesh from bone, though most are fed smaller prey such as rodents. The scales are a bluish gray, similar in coloration to that of mountain stone.
Pack Drakes are capable of climbing sheer surfaces with their powerful claws. They are also immune to cold, and are quite strong for their size. All of these traits make them the perfect pack animal for the cold reaches of the mountains.
A Pack Drake's diet consists predominantly of small rodents. Mountain Mice are a type of domesticated rodent, which has been breed almost exclusively as a food source for Pack Drakes. Other feed for Pack Drakes consists of wild berries, and the occasional other meat. Some Pack Drake owners have been known to let their drakes feast on any sort of fauna that may cause the owner harm.

Interesting concept! I wonder how the humans use these pack drakes in everyday life. ^^ Something to expand upon once we're allowed to edit our articles. ^^ Keep up the great work! :D
