King Slayers

Many dynasties have ended abruptly to the blade or other tools of assassins. The fate of entire kingdoms is determined by the flick of a wrist making them a prime tool for channelers. Libraries label them KS#. In the hands of an occult channeler, KS artifacts can produce powerful effects. The effect reflects the method of assassination.

Hypothetically, there is one KS for every unique assassination of a king. However, practically speaking, KSs are just as prone to being damaged or lost as any other item. Also, poisons hardly become KSs unless it was delivered or contained in a unique apparatus. Also, despite the name, KSs are not exclusive to king assassinations. Any sort of royal figure that would have been destined to inherit power or any lord and/or with enough power to rival a king of a small country can also produce a KS.
