The Fez
Purpose / Function
Training to be a Planeswalker is tough and arduous, and the students need a place to kick back and relax in between training: The Fez is just that. Situated on the floating island of Top Hat in the plane of Udrid Meho it provides the students a place to drink, play and relax together. The ground floor of the building is taken up by an open space common room with a bar, small stage, and tables of varying sizes. The second floor contains six rooms which can be booked by small groups of students in order to play games, such as dice, cards, board and role playing games.
Architecture
The outer walls are constructed from a pale pink stone which comes from the mountains of Jyla, and the high sloping roof from red clay tiles. The ground floor is fronted by two large bay windows either side of a polished oak door. To the rear is a courtyard conatining several seating areas and a small fountain in the centre. It has two floors, a basement and a small attic space in the rafters. The front and sides of the building are surrounded by a low black wrought iron fence which has climbing flowers growing through it.
