Civilization and Culture

Created from humans by the Cirvaeon gods to serve, they have a variety of forms based upon the needs they are meeting. With their memories wiped away upon crossing the veil, they serve the gods in their halls and palaces. Each of the major gods has their own contingent of Alfsir that they house in their own halls. These make up the losalf, dokkalf, maralf, and svartalf. It takes an act of great service to be chosen for a personal retinue such as these. They maintain and defend these halls, while enforcing the gods will in the surrounding areas. These are the divine beings one might find in myths, legends, and ancient histories. Any who do not serve in one of the four grand halls is simply an alfsir.
