Elector Lord Alcaeus Iacomus, Of Iren
The Elector Lord of Iren is the Empire's longest reigning, with 55 years of service, and almost the oldest. At 86 years old, Alcaeus is only one year younger than the eldest. He is, however, far less hale, and requires the use of a litter to move around, and has half a dozen servants attend him at all times. His eldest child, a son named Citrio waits to succeed him, although he is himself sixty, with children of his own. His mind is still sharp, however, and his experience and wisdom is widely sought even by other Elector Lords.
His family claims unbroken descent from the old Imperial House of Belkais; whilst Belkais was officially removed from power by Til-Yaltur, a scion of the House was granted the lordship of Iren in exchange for their loyalty during his crusade.
