Luna - God of the Moons
"By the light of Motir do our soldiers strike. By the light of Nihr do our people farm. By the light of Luna do our masons build. We will work day and night to preserve the greatest bastion of civilization that has ever existed!" - High Priestess Amari Celeste

In all things; Balance. As the light of the moons waxes, so does it wane. Learn to understand when your strength has waxed, and your obstacle's has waned.
To my learned children, I bestow the gift of the arcane; the power this world is weaved from. With it we will overcome all the troubles our world has put upon us.
Not a single one of my moons shines brighter than the City. Preserve it, above all else.
The Church of Luna
Luna's church has the most diverse mix of followers (as well as the largest simply because as head of the Pantheon, many see her as the "default" choice. Nonetheless, her church attracts those interested in power, and Luna's high priests are most often voted into Ascendency (de facto ruler of the City). The ranks of the church are viewed as quite difficult to climb, as rather than set trials or rites or deeds, rising the ranks of Luna's church seems to require her personal trust and approval. Politically, the church mandates the development of Amaranth; growing both it's people and it's industries. Furthermore, the church advocates for, and provides much of the arcane training in the city, for those with the talent to learn. It has often been said that Luna is playing the long game; that while the city is waging battles and campaigns, her concern is the war in totality, and the fact that a thousand years has passed since it's inception, does not cocern her in the least.Remove these ads.
