Kuhfish
A large bottom-feeding fish that forms a staple part of the Amar diet. Without proper corralling, their appetite is quite destructive, but exceptionally good at clearing all the hardy roots and stems from the rivers or flooded fields, readying them for replanting. Professional chefs describe their taste and texture as smooth and subtle, suitable for a refined palate. Blunt chefs tend to liken them to eating textured mud.
