Black Division
where the Imperial guard works in publicity, the Black division works in the shadows. Members of the Division, often known as Black Guards are the real primary unit of the emperor. Specializing in working from the shadows, they terminate all individuals, groups, and organizations that oppose the Emperor. In their line of work, they are above the law. They murder, torture and threaten in order to get their job done. All traces of the divisions’ work are swept under the rug, and anyone publicly announcing the existence of the division is to be silenced or reeducated.
The Division is divided into three main departments
Department 1. Security.
Department 1 is the largest department and mainly focuses on espionage, counterespionage, international political sabotage, and assassinations. The guardsmen refer to people working for the Department as "Jägers." for their merciless, and often ruthless way of operating.
Department 2. Control.
The second department focuses on propaganda and the exportation of Imperial culture. Even by force. Furthermore, the Second department terminates what it considers "harmful" Not only media and art but also people and groups. These Guardsmen are commonly called "Enforcers"
Department 3. Support.
The Third Department is tasked with managing the logistics of the Division. In addition, they also draw out most of the plans used by the other departments in the field. These people are mockingly referred to as "Monarchs" as most of the people who choose to work there are usually of high-status.
The fourth term used by Division members is "Rook" which refers to former members of the Imperial Guard who sometimes still insist on wearing plate armor.
All members of the Black Division are divided into Units of up to five people. Originally this was done to increase morale by letting new agents choose who they want to co-operate with, and to promote comradery with peers that may work in different departments, but eventually, this practice evolved into a more practical system, in which units or squads are combined into larger cohorts, which are divided by the expertise and designations of the members of said units.
During the years it has been noted that in some cases the Unit system has led to tribalism within the Division. The interactions of different Units have been described as overseers as "Highly amusing."

History
The organization was formed shortly after the Hawk War. The Imperial military had to this point mostly relied on brute strength, but this strategy failed during the war. So the Empire improvised.
The Division employed assassins and spies who would infiltrate Ikunesian and Lumenian courts, and eventually led to the vassalizing of both nations.
