The history of the Eastern continent of Aren is almost synonymous with the one of the Rindenheimian Empire, named so after the name of the first of their kin, and later the term for the race that inhabits it. Through conquest, assimilation and cultural supremacy the minor kingdom rose to power over the entire continent. This can largely be credited to the minor point that the ruling minority of the Empire possesses supernatural abilities.   We follow the world in the eyes of Unit 0. A segment of the Imperial Black Division, a secret police force in the service of the Emperor.   The world is yet again at the brink of a great war, and the cultural clashes of new and old continue shaping the world.
