Welcome to Oxerune

Within the world of Oxerune, on the continent of Malquos, the remnants of an ancient history still score the landscape. In places where light and song graced hills of green, shadow and fury now scar fields of ash. It is said that there in places most touched by the ancient history, realms flicker and shift. Those who enter, are rarely seen again.

In the south, fledgling cities perch on hills, river banks, and bays. Bright banners flapping proudly in the wind, a testament to man's persistent survival. To the east and north, a mountain range carves through the land, with untold stories and treasures beneath. In the west tall forests that have weathered the tests of time hide secrets known to but a rare few. The world is young again, with civilizations recovering and developing past the wake of despair.

However, change is coming to these people. Four thousand years passed between the ancient history and now, what once slept begins to stir, and what once hovered on the edges of reality begins to come closer. Only time will tell what will become of this world, and only fate can know if it is to survive. So rise up, peoples of Oxerune, look to the stars and earth and trees.
