Varaseno Bay

Located in the largest bay of Maraphel's coast, Varaseno Bay is notable shipping center, but that is merely an undercurrent. What they're most famous for is their massive entertainment industry. If someone wants to make a movie, see a symphony, experience a "localized dancing event", or any of a number of other performances, this is the place to go.
In particular, the movie industry is one of Maraphel's worst-kept secrets. With such a magic-based society, films are somewhat anathema, but the diverse local geography allows for a variety of films to be made within the easy comfort of the area, and a broad diverse population due to the trade influx means that anyone can become a star.
