Outer Layer Druid Realm

Some dedicate their lifetimes to learn as much about the world as possible. Many leaps and strides have been discovered this way, and we will always have them to thank for that. However, every scientist to date has gotten one thing consistently wrong in their revelations: we do not live on the surface of the Earth.   Many millennia ago, magic-wielding druids of many different lineage and practice worshiped the Earth. Of these were two main factions; earth and sky. They lived in varying stages of peace, sometimes with no peace at all, sometimes made worse with the growing communities of outsiders that seemed to stretch across the continents further by each year. It wasn't long before druid peace would vanish entirely, outsiders shattering it and their people along with it. It was the final straw when a betrayal split the factions of air and earth. In their last moments, the earthen druids cursed the sky druids to leave the human realm and never return.   The scorned druids left, unheard of for a great long time and nearly forgotten about by the earthen druids, whose unity was as much a legend as their lost kinsmen after a great many wars ravaged their nation. Taking to the skies, the druids had taken advantage of their seclusion and used their powers to create a new nation just above the heads of their old friends. This land was their greatest feat. Hanging upside down above their old lands, it was a great and vast beauty, mimicking the topography of their treasured lands across the world.   All was lost on those they wished to see it most. The sky druids had created a wonder of nature only an earthen druid could truly appreciate, and yet the nature of this magic was entirely lost to the world beneath them. The nature of their curse hid them from view of any who dared look up into the sky above.
