Got to remember to use that some are loyal to the bigger picture rather than a single part of it. That alone is already a conflict that can have great impact.

Master of falconry.

Birds are cool. Just imagine how useful a well-trained bird can be when dealing with vicious grounded Beasts.

The most crucial jobs sometimes are treated like dirt. Remember that, not everyone will get the respect they deserve.

Zambowknee Transportation Network
Vehicle | Jul 6, 2022

Colloquially known as The Z, the Zambowknee Transportation Network is the most highly utilized public transit system in Eden.

If you have a decent public system set up, you decrease how much people depend on the private system. A great powermove to weaken an exploitative market.

There is no such thing as safe travels. Always remember to prepare for being robbed. And with any vehicle, think first 'how can this be used in war'. The people in your world will have thought about that.
Dune Sailer

A vehicle designed to move across large deserts.

Consider using your enemy's weapons against them. Remember, the Dutch sold cannons to the Spanish and used their profits to make better cannons to use against said Spanish. People are clever tricksters like that.

Technology / Science | Jul 28, 2022
When dealing with lost technology, ask yourself first: Why did this get lost? What precautions should I take?

Magic Sipon
Technology / Science | Jul 31, 2022

If one could pull the magic from the very air, what would they do with it?

Just because people can't directly use a resource, doesn't mean they won't figure out a way to profit of it. People's ingenuity knows no bounds, remember that.

Don't be foolish enough to assume that current civilization can't learn a lesson or two from previous ones.

The Next Step

Honestly, my first step should be to organize my articles. They're not properly categorized or tagged right now, that needs to change. May want to write a tagging guide article as well, and explain what the tags are about.   Next would be to properly link articles tbrough variables, to give me more control over Excerpts. (Since Excerpts and Tooltips combine in a buggy manner, I need to properly css variable-tooltips and use only tooltips.) I'm missing some links, while others are a mixture of tooltipped variables and direct links, so got some work to do there.   Once we get to WorldEmber, I want to write up some plot ideas and start work on the missing parts to make those stories work. Got plenty of ideas from Summercamp, so time to work on them.

I feel that first step in "The Next Step," I will do that, probably after figuring out this single timeline for my world. Maybe, really depends on what keeps the brain goblins from rioting.

As always, it would be appreciated if you would stop by my challenge article The Storm Giant Empire and leave some feedback.   If you are looking for things to read from summer camp there is also my Summer Camp 2022 Reading Challenge.. Happy worldbuilding.

Sometimes we just need to acknowledge that perfection isn't something you get to in the first draft, so if properly organizing is an obstruction to getting those words out for the camp, let it go. And then despair when afterwards you need to fix it. XD
