Innovation Lab
The outside of this building matches the common Lanfen architecture and design that is uniform for the rest of the F.E.A.R. Institute Compound. But if one were to step inside they'd quickly see that the Innovation Lab is a modern marvel. Miniature RIM engines propel platforms up and down through the various floors of the lab transporting researchers, technology never seen before is being tested everywhere. There is no wonder to why the Innovation Lab is one of the most locked down and highly protected locations on the compound.
Owned and operated by the F.E.A.R. Institute, the Innovation Lab and the researchers that work within it are at the forefront of Lanfen technology, coming up with new uses for common materials such as Demon Blood or infernal metals. All of the internals of the research projects that happen in the Innovation Lab are kept secret from even other researchers not assigned to the lab.
Purpose / Function
The Innovation Lab was created for the purpose of housing dangerous and possibly unstable creatures and experiments. The F.E.A.R. Institute wanted to make sure that the lab could withstand most internal damage in case anything with wrong. They also didn't want their experiments to be easily known to others.
Alterations
Over its short time of being a stable building, the Innovation Lab has had two renovations. A special wing as been added to the lab, the walls of this wing are made of a lead-like material but its purpose is unknown. The other renovation was a repair of one of the floors after allegedly a demon went on a rampage, where it came from and how it got there is unknown to most.
Defenses
The Innovation Lab could be considered one of the most secure structures in Lanfe. It's walls are reinforced with various infernal metals and there are some arcane protections place upon it. However most of the defense is provided by the F.E.A.R. Institute security forces.
Tourism
The Innovation Lab is never open for tourism, its possibly one of the most secured and locked down places on Lanfe. It's also highly dangerous within the lab if you end up in the wrong area.
