Obress Entrance Guard Barracks
Purpose / Function
Was used originally by the inhabitants to house the guards of the entrance into Obress. This includes the storing of their weapons, armor, and the weapons, armor, and valuables of those that entered the city.
Design
The corridor is about 150 feet long and 10 feet wide. At the end of the 150 feet it splits into two corridors going 45 degrees left and right. Some of the small alcoves that are "used for lighting sources" are actually murder holes which can be used by skeletal archers to protect the pathway in. Ten feet in on the left is a doorway and about 50 feet in on the right is a second doorway.
Entries
The only entrance is through the Outer Hall and the forked corridors leading to the upper elevator and upper staircase respectively.
Sensory & Appearance
The door swings open with a light creak. Ahead is a long corridor with two rooms branching from it. Every few meters lie small alcoves.
Denizens
There be skeletons in these parts.
Contents & Furnishings
The corridor is lined with small alcoves with small braziers fastened to them.
Hazards & Traps
Within the alcoves for the lighting implements there are some that possess murder holes for skeletal defenders to repel invading adventurers.
