Ost

The World of Ost is one of Seven planets in a system known to it's inhabitants as The Cradle. Lit by twin suns, it is the stage on which gods and mortals wrestle to rule, understand and conquer the growing mysteries of magic and the nature of reality itself.   The Prime War is long over. the dust of the resulting conflicts has settled. The mortal races flourish and empires rise where others have fallen. The continents of Edstost in the east and Widstost in the west keep to their own concerns... for now. But war is brewing. Wars of men and wars of gods. Hatred has been sewn in the hearts of mortals and divine alike and soon these dark ambitions will no longer be contained. But this is The Age Of Ascension. The celestial plane draws exemplary souls both light and dark to it and offers the mantle of godhood to worthy mortals. What will these new gods do with their new power? to err is human... and these fresh young deities remember being human sometimes all to well.   With conflict on the horizon, the empires of man enjoy a time of splendour and ingenuity. The ancient empire of the Elves keeps to its schemes... and the stories of heroes unfold.
