Ley Lines

As you step forward, you briefly get the sensation of power wash over you that almost stops you in your tracks. At that moment, you get a feeling of how many other life-sparks are in the surrounding area, and you can almost swear you see the sparks themselves along certain abstract lines. You try to follow the line, around every bend and corner like a river, until it turns downwards through the floor. The power was immense, but humblingly so. You feel both naked and deaf stepping out of it.

Manifestation

When magic is cast from a ley line, it is maximized and much more powerful than it otherwise would be. Mundane people standing on one can see the souls of other people on the same ley line and can hear the conversations of those nearby, granted a limited amount of local omniscience that quickly becomes intoxicating. Likewise, casters will feel what the ley line does to their magic and often get addicted to the feeling even faster than a mundane.

Localization

Ley Lines run through all the world, beginning and ending, turning and flowing at its own pace and direction. The power given by the ley line exists only while on the ley line and senses given by it extend only where the line touches. Jantocar is known to be a hot area with an extremely thick weave of ley lines reaching around the entire city and into the Burrows below.
