Portals of Arcane Energy

Connected through arcane Ley Lines, the four portals of Ossin fuel the lands arcane energy. Three of the four portals are still intact and produce energy at full capacity, the fourth one was split apart during The War of Shattered Souls and is currently broken in two with one half being held by the Mani Tribe on the Redwyrm Islands and the other held by the Maenor Tribe in the Maestyn Mountains. From all of the portals, the arcane leylines wrap around the planet crisscrossing one another making certain points small wells of arcane energy. When all four where together those of Elvish ancestry were able to use the art of Lymrah to it's fullest extent, now with the portal in the Attel sea broke the power has dwindled making most spells under Lymrah unusable.
Today the Mani and Maenor tribes strive to keep the portals under their protection safe from both those who wish to take them over, and from piecing themselves back together.

Geography

Found in four different areas of Ossin, the energy that emanates from these portals flows throughout the world giving life, power, and magic to all living things. Each one is controlled by an Elvish tribe as they were the first to find the Portals; one is located at the northern pole owned by the Thelascia Tribe. The second is believed to be at the southern pole with holders being unknown, the third is on the edge of the Carmeth Ocean under the control of the Hilothlond Tribe. The fourth and final orignally sat directly opposite of the third within the The Attel Sea on the former larger Almelar Island but is now split in two and held by the Mani Tribe on the Redwyrm Islands and the Maenor Tribe in the Maestyn Mountains.
