Yaeras Alvernax

Yaeras Alvernax is a Reptiliae woman who is the leader of the Gorgon Society. Most often she appears to others as an old woman, but in secret she leads a deep underground organization of highly skilled thieves and other mercenary-type people.
Yaeras Alvernax was born on the 22nd of Halthorius, 0728 4.E., and grew up in the underground city of Ephane. She was raised in a well-off family, but she was taught from an early age to be ruthless and to take every advantage that she can. Because of this, Yaeras grew up and took advantage of her parents' wealth and power within the black market to build an empire for herself on the black market. 
The empire that Yaeras built up took over 20 years to establish, and was built on the two most valuable currencies in the black market world: money and trust. She built up a reputation for herself, though it was through her pseudonym: Mistress Gorgon. This allowed her to remain anonymous and still build up the credibility she needed in the black market for people to take her seriously. She became notorious for finding incredibly rare and expensive artifacts and substances, and she was the go-to gal for anything that you needed. After about a decade or so, she began to hire underlings to do her work for her, and constructed a secret base deep within a mountain. It was at this point that she began her organization of The Gorgon Society. After only a few short months, The Gorgon Society was the largest and most notorious underground organization in the entire world. 
Very few people know of Mistress Gorgon's real identity, as most of the time she transforms herself to look like an old Human woman, and operates under the pseudonym: Dorothy Valum. She does this whenever she is not within her headquarters, and whenever other people are around to protect her identity. She also does this in case she needs to monitor something directly, or get involved in something in public. She has come close to being discovered a few times, but every single time she manages to escape without being discovered.
