Tablets of the Tahl'Maran

The "Lost" Tablets of Tahl'Maran are four clay tablets, 4 X 6 inches, each inscribed with the same four different languages, each one repeating a same but distinct message. The tablets were once rumored to contain the secrets of the universe, although what they actually explain is the Nexus and travel through rifts.
The tablets were written well before Salem Asandromere's time, but after he and his cohorts discovered and eventually blocked the rifts of the Tahl'Maran, the tablets disappeared. Scholars from all over Orr believe they were hidden to keep the world safe from the same constant influx of raiders from other worlds that sacked Ahn Jaleen and destroyed much of Orr's earlier civilization.
