Purpose / Function
The Last Stop is the adventurer's preferred meeting/sleeping/dining location in Hero's Gate. Partly, this is due to the reasonable prices and plethora of rooms. Partly, this is due to the fact that The Last Stop is one of the only inns in town that doesn't look at the average adventurer like they're about to rob the place blind or burn it down on a whim.
Rooms cost either 5 sp, 7 sp, 1 gp, or 2 gp, depending on the room's size and location. Keeping a horse overnight in the stables behind the inn costs an additional 5 sp.

Architecture
The large inn, like most buildings in Hero's Gate, has a stone first floor, which hosts a separate taproom and dining room, as well as the kitchen. Some 30 guest rooms adorn the upper two wooden floors, with options for single-, double-, or even family-occupancy. Glass windows adorn the walls, with wooden shutters outside that can be closed and bolted.
History
The "faces" of The Last Stop are Prudence Herdsman (Female Tiefling), a pretty young woman who works the front desk, and Zade Kenevan (Male Gnome), a bald, skinny, and gruff bartender who remembers virtually everyone who comes in.
